Family Day @ Mitchell's Orchard

Here is a smattering of moments I love from a recent visit to Mitchell's Orchard here in Ashland, OH. It was an impromptu adventure. The kids and I almost left Laura behind so she could grade some papers for the course she teaches at Ashland University, but I'm glad she came. Laura and I were just talking about how full life feels right now. It's full of laundry, dishes, dirty diapers, papers to write, Greek words to parse, and papers to grade. Sometimes we have to resort to the "divide and conquer" method of getting it all to fit. But life is also full of Concord and Niagara grapes, beautiful smiles, cool fall air, and lots of love. These moments can't be pitted against one another. All together they make up the whole of our beautiful life and we are learning to experience the presence of God in the midst of all of them. What are your lives full of right now?
